Tee Time – Ocean City, NJ

Played on August 15, 2021

Many years ago, before meeting Mr. Tee and becoming half of A Couple of Putts, I played Tee Time mini golf on a day trip out to the shore with my best friends Maggie and Stella. So let’s start with a little blast from the past.

Back in 2007, I had no idea that I’d return 14 years later, from Minnesota, with my husband, to play competitively. But that’s exactly what I did this past August 2021. Our friends at O-Street Mini Golf were hosting their $1000 Tournament the same week that we were in town to visit family. We headed down to the Ocean City boardwalk for a day of friends and mini golf. And while Mr. Tee and I didn’t win any trophies, we left with some amazing memories. Check out O-Steet’s video from the tournament below, it has great views of the course!

Rating

Family owned and operated since 1977, Tee Time is what I consider to be quintessential mini golf. It’s colorful and kitschy with tons of mechanized moving obstacles and hole-in-one opportunities. Everything had a fresh coat of paint on it and the turf was like new. It’s right on the boardwalk with a view of the ocean. There’s fiberglass creatures, a canopy of umbrellas for shade and funny murals everywhere you turn. I really can’t think of a better place to mini golf on the entire Jersey Shore.
