Holey Moley Season 2 Finale – Recap & Bigger Windmill Talk Show w/ Tanner Beard, Mollie (S1) & Jennifer (S2)

(ABC/Christopher Willard)

The play on Holey Moley: The Sequel is done and we have a champion that received a bejeweled putter (!!) and a quarter of a million bucks after sinking a ridiculously long shot! We broke down the putting of this last competitive episode of Holey Moley for 2020 on We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Windmill with two impressive putters from past episodes. Our pal Mollie Peterson was a Season 1 winner and Jennifer Weitz was the first competitor to ever get a hole-in-one on the wackiest course in the world. After hearing behind the scene stories from these two women, we brought on the grand champion Tanner Beard. He shared about the charity he was playing for out on the course and what he loved about the competition. It was a rousing conversation that Tanner fit in while traveling to his hometown in Texas on his birthday. We finished the conversation with everyone sharing hopes and dreams for the future of this fabulously fun putting competition.

The first of two new holes this episode. Christopher Morales, Mallory Sestak & Noor Jehangir had to face off on one of the goofiest holes to date, Clowning Around. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Players were strapped in, spun around and had to putt upside down. Miss a putt and you’ll get pie right in the kisser. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Noor and Christopher missed 6-8′ putts leaving the door open for Mallory Sestak to win the hole on her 2nd putt. She’s off to the final hole. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Erik Gustafson, Chelsea Kinard & Connie Amarel lined up to find out what The Distractor would throw at them while they attempt a 12′ putt. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
The one and only Michael Winslow of Police Academy fame was no major distraction for Chelsea as she made it to the final hole on her first attempt on The Distractor. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Ashley Lewis, Alexandra Scott & David Koonvirarak took on Frankenputt to determine who would be the 4th to play for a massive chunk of change. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
No shock to us. David wins out with his expert putting. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
The whole season came down to 4 episode winners. Tanner, Mallory, Chelsea, and David had to make a 100-foot shot. No 2nd putt. Gotta make it in one on The Tomb of Nefer-Tee-Tee
Mallory is stunned as the ball rests on the edge of the cup. A light breeze would have put the ball in but alas, they all continued on. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Chelsea & Mallory can’t believe how close was David was to making that putt. Everyone was within inches of winning $250K.(ABC/Christopher Willard)
A battle well fought still ends high fives and a win for Tanner while maniacs with big fingers cheer them all on. (ABC/Christopher Willard)
Tanner celebrating the only way one should… with costumed characters. We’d do exactly the same if we won on Holey Moley. Congrats! (ABC/Christopher Willard)
