Best of 2018: New Favorites From The Past Year

As we reflect on this past year, we count that collectively we’ve played twenty-seven new courses in 2018. Some of these establishments have been open for decades and a couple of these courses are fresh additions. Either way, they were all new experiences for us so we wanted to celebrate some of our favorites.

And the top five goes to…

Adventure Golf – Westminster, CO – Fire. Talking trees. Crashed planes. Plus 3 west coast style courses.

Colorado Journey – Littleton, CO – Mini golf and an educational adventure of the history of Colorado

Stagecoach Greens – San Francisco, CA – A newly minted mini golf gem for San Fransisco. Incredible theming.

Putt-Putt Fun Center – Burlington, NC – A 50-year-old gem in nearly perfect condition.

Shipwrecked – Red Hook, NY – An immersive putting adventure in the heart of NYC

The runners-up are…

SubPar Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco, CA – 2nd location was a strong contender for the top 5.

Walker Art Center 2018 – Minneapolis, MN – A return to the roof for 10 artist-designed creations

Monster Mini Golf – Denver, CO – Another fun & challenging course part of this blacklight themed chain

Haunted Trails – Burbank, IL – Big haunts and environments that would be a hole-in-one with a few repairs

Tiki Town Adventure Golf – San Diego, CA – Tropically themed indoor/outdoor course located in San Diego’s Belmont Park

Our calendar for 2019 already includes new major mini golf projects and adventures. Follow along and send your tips to acoupleofputts at gmail dot com so we can continue to add new courses to document and play to our “to do” list.
