Stagecoach Greens – San Francisco, CA

Played on November 2, 2018

Reviewed by the Pink Putter

This November, I got to travel to California for just over a week to head to the International Society of Caricature Artists Convention, held this year in sunny San Diego. I was way overdue for a visit to my sister Emily in San Francisco, so I added a few days onto the front end of my trip to hang out with her in the Bay Area. Of course, mini golf was on my agenda. We met up with her friend Kurt on Friday at dusk to play a round of 18 at the new Stagecoach Greens.

Rating

Hole-in-One – San Francisco themed with a focus on the pioneer days, this one-of-a-kind course blends together high-quality fabrication with unique obstacles, fun and challenging gameplay and the perfect balance of skill and chance. Every hole has an interactive didactic that sets the scene with some history and facts as well buttons that trigger audio and in some cases movement on its corresponding hole. An online app allows you to score on your phone while you play. Two bonus photo ops help to reduce traffic on the course and the eighteenth hole tells your fortune. And the incredible ADA accessible design was a smart solution that we’ve never seen before. Clearly, a lot of hard work, passion, and talent went into creating this custom course that is chock full of creative design, moving parts, interactive elements, over the top gameplay and good old fashioned fun.

According to the Stagecoach Greens website:

Every hole tells a unique story of boom and bust in the West and explores the elements that shape the San Francisco experience.
