Adventure Golf & Raceway – Westminster, CO

Played June 30, 2018

Reviewed by the Pink Putter

As part of the ongoing nationwide travels of the Barter Boat, Mr. Tee and I road-tripped out to Colorado in late June/early July this summer. While in the Denver area, we stayed with long-time music friends of Mr. Tee’s, Chuck and Febra. Chuck joined us for a few rounds throughout the weekend, the first being Adventure Golf.

Rating

Hole-in-One – Upon arrival, we immediately knew that Adventure Golf was going to be a knockout experience. Greeted by a giant map of three over-the-top courses with titles like Lost Continent and Buccaneer Bay, we were genuinely conflicted about which one to play. We ultimately settled on Adventure Cove, a haunted house/story land themed course tucked way in the back of the property. Even though the first two courses looked super fun, we definitely made the right choice by picking the quietest course, as we were rewarded with zero crowds and wait time.

A combination of hole design, architectural obstacles and decorative lights made this course felt reminiscent of some of the west coast courses we’ve played, like Golfland and Golf N Stuff. Dimensional signage, whimsical houses, talking trees, challengingly fun game play, sound effects and water features galore are just a few of the features that skyrocket Adventure Golf to a top notch review. We’ll let our documentation of the course speak for itself. If you are in the Denver area, this is the number one place we would recommend for you to go play mini golf.

Which course to play? So many choices, oh my!
