Of the several courses I have on my list to review from Door County, I opted for this course since it’s in EGG harbor and it’s easter. It’s one of numerous courses dotting this island and Summer tourism destination in northern Wisconsin, about 3 hours north of Milwaukee. I had driven by this course several times on my way up to Ephraim to play tournaments at the best mini golf in Door County, The Red Putter. This course is perfectly positioned in the middle of the island off WI-42, and is hard to miss with the massive lighthouse in the middle. It was the only course I had not played in Door County, and I finally got to it last year.
Rating
Since 2022, I have slowly worked my way through the various mini golf courses throughout Door County. I had heard mixed reviews of this course, so I came in with a slight amount of trepidation, but I found the whole course to be quite nice. The four-colored surfaces are a nice visual touch to the course. The green is traditional astroturf, but the purple, blue, and red are exterior carpet that plays a bit faster and fussier than turf. The metal rimmed cups are never an ideal sight to see on a course, and there were a few that were beaten up around the edges, which makes for frustrating putting. The lighthouses, covered bridges, shoot-through obstacles, caves, and water features give the whole course a pleasant vibe. There is a little shade throughout the course, which is perfect since this is a seasonal/summer course. With a variety of attractions throughout the facility, this is a solid option if you’re up in Door County looking for a fun evening.

Multi-colored carpet (green, red, purple) across the course
Classic course features (water, lighthouse, covered bridge, cave)
Challenging gameplay in a few places
Pipe holes play fairly randomly
Fun layout
Metal rimmed cups showing some wear
Organic limestone(?) walls make for difficult/inconsistent rebound shots
Fairly good shape
