A lovely weekend working on an artist-designed mini golf hole in charming Decorah, Iowa took us on a path through an area where we haven’t investigated for mini golf courses. In our guide to miniature golf in Minnesota, I noted a number of courses we had not played or visited but came up in a search. The smallest amount of details and photos popped up around the course at Niagra Cave in Harmony, Minnesota. Since we were driving through, I figured it would be worth finding out if the course was operating and playable. I’m happy to report that it is! The turf is looking a little worn down but a solid variety of gameplay and a nice ambiance make this place a nice stop-off if you’re in the area.

Entrance to the larger facility
Cute lil clubhouse
Posing next to the nice club display at the clubhouse
Solid putting green to get warmed up
Steaming day so I’m going to just snap some pics quick
Overview from the side
You can see the where the turf is showing wear as well as the ADA exit
Clever design and a solid chance at an ace with the right pace
Water hazards to the left and right
Wasn’t sure if one is meant to play off the black rubber mats
Winding
Another overview shot
Uphill with some rock obstacles
Dogleg right with a few slopes
Uphill and to the left. Probably play off that second rock on the left for the ace
An interesting scoring mechanism on the final hole
