After several days on the east coast playing courses across the greater Philly area, we ventured to the Jersey Shore for the O-Street Mini Golf $1000 Tournament. On the day of the tournament, we had already practiced for a few hours and then had a blast competing at Tee Time. Since we didn’t plan to get back to Ocean City during the rest of our Shore vacation, we had just enough time in the day to play another round (or maybe two) with putting pals who also needed a little more mini golf in their day. As we headed south down the boardwalk, we literally couldn’t walk more than a city block without bumping into another miniature golf course. We asked our O-Street friends who call the Shore home which would be the best choice for us all to take in a round. There was a little debate but Seaport Village came out as the top choice among six nearby options.

Any course that features a massive shark as part of the signage above the clubhouse is gonna draw us in to play. Ending the course on a 19th hole that gives you a chance to activate another massive/secret shark and to win a free game is the cherry on top of the sundae. This is a well-themed seaside/boating course that makes sense on the other side of the boardwalk from the Atlantic ocean. Most of the holes are aceable and we saw that first hand when Evan from O-Street nailed 6 hole-in-ones in a row. All you have to do is get the ball in the right channel. But like a lot of courses we enjoy playing, there is a high risk/reward aspect to going for all those aces. It helps make for big swings in scoring which made for lots of drama with our large group of six people. The voyage through the seaside village through a ship and well-themed obstacles makes for a truly immersive experience. My slight gripe was that the wooden channels didn’t always play well or consistently. In the video above, you’ll see Highlighter land in the right channel only for the ball to get stuck. But ultimately, this is a super fun mini golf course that we’ll eagerly play again in the future.
Love this night time drone overview of the course
