Mini golf enthusiasts we met at a mini golf tournament gave us a heads up to this pop-up/inflatable miniature golf contraption located at a new soda store opening in a nearby suburb. We’ve heard of all sorts of portable mini golf obstacles and courses but had not yet played an inflatable one. Who are we to resist?
Rating
Sandtrap – At least it was free. This air-filled putting course came with traditional built-in obstacles, undulations, and an obnoxiously loud generator used to keep everything inflated. A clever option from a local company that offers up bouncy castles for parties but at the price tag of $599 or several grand to purchase, you’d be better off bringing your group to a nearby local course. It’s a clever concept that looks much better than it plays.

Pros
We didn’t have to pay to play it
Cons
Loud generator
Hard to play with a normal putter
Expensive to rent
Nerdy Notes
- USA Inflatables had a number of options of golf/mini golf related products. I’d be curious to their non-inflated portable mini golf course at some point
