A good friend of mine recently moved to Baraboo, WI, a sleepy town located between Madison and the Wisconsin Dells that is home to the Circus World Museum. For years he had been telling me about this run down miniature golf course located at the entrance to Devil’s Lake State Park. I finally got a chance to stop through town on my drive home from South Carolina and see this place for myself.

Rumor has it that this amusement center has only been closed for about two years or so. The overgrowth of vegetation was quite abundant yet very beautiful and if I squinted I could almost imagine what this place looked like in its heyday. There were “no trespassing” signs everywhere and it was broad daylight so I didn’t explore too far inside, but the snapshots I got should give you a good feel for the place.
