Golf N’ Stuff – Tucson, AZ

Played on January 23rd and March 4th, 2022

Reviewed by the Pink Putter

In January 2022, we were in Tucson area to spend time with family. We found ourselves back in Tucson again for a friend’s wedding that March, just a few months later. On both visits, we took some time to play mini golf at Golf N’ Stuff. We had already played at their California locations including Norwalk and Ventura, so we were excited to see what the Tucson location had offer, since it was the last of the three Golf N’ Stuff courses on our “to-play” list.

Rating

Golf N’ Stuff is a classic Castle Golf built course. Sometimes we also refer to this as West Coast Style, indicating raised sidewalks, sunken playing greens dotted with colorful lights and oversize mini golf classics including castles, windmills, gingerbread houses, pagodas, etc. Upon entering, you get to walk into a giant castle (which also serves as the arcade). Once you get outside, there is a central water feature surrounded by two different 18-hole courses. This particular location was in need of a bit of maintenance with some cracked concrete, torn or worn turf, and some debris on the course. However, I do enjoy the large scale of everything (props, landscaping) which makes playing here feel like an immersive experience. I also appreciate little details such as fun embellishments imprinted into the concrete as well as unique picnic tables at the clubhouse. There are also scenic views of the nearby mountains. And considering there aren’t many mini golf options in the greater Tucson area, this would be a good choice.
