Legends of the Lost Jungle Mini Golf at Tom Foolerys Adventure Park – Wisconsin Dells, WI

Played on January 17th & 18th, 2020

Reviewed by the Pink Putter

Back in early 2020, pre-pandemic days, Mr. Tee and I took a long weekend winter trip to the Wisconsin Dells to play mini golf, do some escape rooms, and hit up all the other indoor, cheesy tourist traps we could find. One of the better indoor courses we played was Legends of the Lost Jungle, part of Tom Foolerys Adventure Park at the Kalahari Resort. For a single wristband, you could do almost all of the activities in the Adventure Park, including the mini golf as well as go-karts, climbing walls, and various rides. And the best part was, we got free wristbands through an off-site hotel that we stayed at. If you don’t have a wrist band, you can purchase one for $37.99 or just play the mini golf for $5/person. Because we had a wristband, we tried out the go-karts and climbing walls, but our focus was of course on the mini golf.

Rating

Overall, this colorful, tropical-themed 12 hole course is challenging and fun. The wall murals, overhead parrots, and figurines nestled throughout really added to the lost jungle story. Every hole consisted of a different, brightly colored turf. The course was clean and well maintained, but in general, it was no-frills. Gameplay consisted mostly of hills and bumps with a few large rock obstacles. With our free wristbands (or at $5/person), the price was right. When it’s single digits outside, who wouldn’t want to play unlimited indoor mini golf? Well, pre-pandemic that is. Make sure to wear your masks and social distance if you go there now!
