AJ’s Mini Golf 2020 – Lititz, PA

One of the best parts of our experience on Holey Moley has been the aftermath and getting introduced to a world of new people who are equally as passionate about the game of mini golf as us. When we first saw Marni Van Grouw on the debut episode of season 2, we noted her idiosyncratic use of a scorecard in her hand as part of her putting form and her intro video. A trip down the internet rabbit hole helped us discover her family’s annual tradition, AJ’s mini golf, the brainchild of her youngest son. Since 2016, Marni’s whole family has created a pop-up miniature golf course for the community with proceeds going to charity. This prompted us to bring Marni and her competitor onto We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Windmill because it was clear she wasn’t your run-of-the-mill putting fanatic.

For 2020, AJ’s mini golf went with the theme “Let’s The Games Begin”. The course displays a clear focus on fun family games, carnival amusements, video games, and a couple of nods to Holey Moley season 2. All of the holes look well built and are far more impressive than your average homemade pseudo-pop-up carnival game. We shared photos of all of the holes below because we couldn’t just pick a few to highlight.
