King Park Mini Golf – Lakeville, MN

Reviewed by the Pink Putter

We had heard about a brand new, inclusive and accessible park with a free 9-hole mini golf course that just opened up in the first tier Minneapolis suburb of Lakeville, MN. So in late June, we drove down to check out King Park. The park itself is massive and includes multiple baseball diamonds, batting cages, picnic areas, a walking trail, an ADA accessible playground and most importantly, the mini golf course. The mini golf is completely free, but you have to bring your own ball and putter. From what we understand, in “normal times”, there is a clubhouse where you can borrow these items, but due to COVID, you currently need to bring your own.

This article details the park’s development.

Original course plans

Par – This 9 hole course is simple, but offers a good series of putting challenges. Every single hole is ADA accessible and because it’s brand new, the course is in impeccable condition. And the best part? It’s all completely free! You could putt through the 9 holes as many times you want in any given session. So if you’re in the Lakeville area and in the mood to putt, there’s no reason not to give King Park at try.
