From the inception of our new mini golf talk show We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Windmill with our friends from The Putting Penguin, we created space to discuss the broader world of mini golf beyond Holey Moley. With Hardcore Mini Golf, we now have two major competitive competition shows featuring a high level of production, goofy characters, and the prize of a sharp-looking bright green jacket based on putting skills.
Since this project began as a collaboration, we thought we’d bring on two other Holey Moley alums, Aaron Kaminski of O-Street Mini Golf and Randy Rice, that are well-versed in the world of competitive miniature golf to help Mr. Tee & Pat discuss this wacky new show. We discussed the first two episodes of the show in Pt. 1 and plan on following the show through their first season every other week. New episodes of the show air each Wednesday and our recap with some regularity. Stay tuned and check out Pt. 1 below.
The competition organized by Achievement Hunter and part of a larger series on the Rooster Teeth network takes place on a classic mini golf course in the heart of Austin, Texas. Peter Pan is a course Mr. Tee played back in 2013 & 2015 and remains in our top 10 courses in the US. This mid-20th-century gem will be the background to putting by an assorted group of costumed goofballs.
You can find episode 1 up on YouTube and stream it below. The 2nd episode is currently behind a paywall and requires an account over at Rooster Teeth.
