Lumberjack Pass Mini Golf – Lake George, NY

Visited on August 25, 2019, by Mr. Tee & The Pink Putter

Our trip to Upstate New York and the Lake George area wasn’t nearly long enough. We played what we believed to be the best mini golf courses in the area but found that our travels wouldn’t give us enough time to play and fully document all of the miniature golf joints. We passed by Lumberjack Pass several times as we drove around town and pulled up early in the morning before we hit the road back south. After snapping a few shots near the entrance, one of the purveyors of the course pulled up and pressed us on why we were there outside of the posted opening hours. We let them know we documented courses and wanted to snap a few shots. They told us to come back during operating hours so we had to head out of town with only modest documentation.

The price of admission for this course and free soft serve is probably the main reason for going here if you’re in the area. The extended Lake George region is bursting with unique and special courses. As completists, we like to play every course out there but I’d recommend Goony Golf, Around the World, Around the USA, Pirate’s Cove (both locations in the area), and Hillbilly Fun Park before heading over to Lumberjack Pass.

Nerdy Notes

  • $5.95 a round that includes soft serve ice cream
  • According to their website, “Lumberjack Pass, Lake George’s Newest and Largest Mini Golf Course
is Ranked # 5 on Earth by www.EntertainmentDesigner.com”. Not sure if it’s the 5th best mini golf course in the area.
