Played October 10, 2019 with O Street (Rudy & Aaron) and Mark “Highlighter” Novicki
After an earlier lengthy round with a big group, a few of us opted to continue the mini golf adventure through Professor Hacker’s treasure themed complex in North Myrtle Beach. Rudy & Aaron (O-Street), Highlighter, and I took on the other 18 holes of the Gold course before grabbing chow. Camera batteries were running low so documentation was limited but the four of us had a blast and grabbed dinner together. First full day in Myrtle Beach was a resounding success.
Rating
Birdie – So why is this course ranked as a Birdie and the Diamond course a hole-in-one? The train ride up for our first time around made a big difference. It kicked off a unique experience with a wonderful group of folks. The evening ambiance and experience was exceptional as well but I like the theming and play elements on the Diamond course slightly more. This whole Professor Hacker’s complex is a strong option for putting in the Myrtle Beach area.
Surprisingly, I’m ok with giving that tip to my opponent!

Cons
Gameplay could have been slightly more imaginative given the theme
Nerdy Notes
- Two 18-hole courses (Diamond & Gold)
- Metal cups with metal rims
- Rubber covered putters
- Part of the larger Professor Hacker’s Lost Treasure Golf US franchise
