This past August, we had a day-long mini golf journey around the Lehigh Valley area of Eastern PA with my dad. The first stop of the day was the newly refurbished Mountain View Drive-In. The second stop of the day was the defunct Casey’s Cafe & Miniature Golf. I had found out about this place from a few Google searches for mini golf in the area. When we stopped by, we noticed a camera doorbell on site, so decided to give it a ring and get permission to enter the course. In addition to the “okay” on us taking some photos, we were informed that the property had just been purchased by Jesse Probus and the new ownership will be refurbishing and re-opening this course as Fore Scoops!

Just a few weeks later, I spotted this article with more details in the local paper.

My dad had a ton of fun looking at the old cars dotting the premise. I enjoyed the classic obstacles like the original church, barn, train and loop. It appears that there are two sections to this course, an original 9 or so holes and then a newer section with an additional 18. We’re very excited to see how this course gets updated and will definitely swing by for a visit next time we’re in the area.
