City Golf 312 at FTW (For the Win) – Chicago, IL

On the same Chicago summer day that we played City Mini Golf, we wandered our way through downtown to the air-conditioned respite of City Golf 312 at FTW Chicago (FTW aka For the Win), an entertainment complex complete with bowling, an arcade, a bar, billiards and a 6-hole, Chicago-themed mini golf course.

Rating

Birdie – Nestled away in the back of a giant arcade on the second floor of a building in downtown Chicago is a mini golf course called City Golf 312 that is short, but sweet. The entire space is themed around elements of the city, which are seamlessly integrated into both the gameplay and its surroundings. From Wacker St. and Lake Shore Drive to the Chicago Theatre, Art Institute and Wrigley Field, this course covers practically all the bases in just six holes. While some of the holes (and the last one in particular) proved to be needlessly challenging, the overall execution of theming and details lands this 6 hole course at a Birdie rating.
