After our nearby favorite Goony Golf closed in 2017, we were eager to find solid outdoor putting options not too far from our home in Minneapolis. Given the extensive review of Lilli Putt back in 2013, I’m keeping this review short.
Rating
Proud to report the overall condition of the beloved mini golf course of my childhood, Lilli Putt, has improved greatly. The replacement of the turf and new coat of paint do wonders for the experience of this course. While the nearby surroundings are still in a bit of a slump, the course has felt busy the last few times we played. The Pink Putter, my family, and childhood friends have met up and taken on this challenging classic miniature golf course. Two castles and lots of challenging holes make this a worthwhile place to putt.
Pros
Numerous challenging and unique hole designs
Variety of hole lengths
Classic castle theming throughout
Cons
Walls, obstacles, and water hazards still require upgrading
