Played June 2022 & 2023

Our first trip to America’s Action Territory came about because it was the location of two of the courses to be played in the 2022 MC Mini Masters. We got in some practice on the Wild West and Wisconsin courses and I documented the Lost Falls course that needed repair on our first visit. We meant to review the course before returning to play the MC Mini Masters in 2023 but we were glad we didn’t as the course did some much-needed turf replacement and some general sprucing up to improve how several of the holes played. The course will be part of the June 2024 MC Mini Masters.
Rating
This is probably my favorite of the 3 mini golf courses at America’s Action Territory. With the turf being replaced after our first visit in June 2022, this course places well and is more consistent than the other two courses on the property. There is a good variety of gameplay across the 18 holes that rewards players who keep the right pace and path to the cup. If you lead your ball astray, there are hazards and depressions to make navigating back toward the cup a solid challenge. The classic windmill, barn, and cheese wedge give the course a nice touch of personality. I would love to see more Wisconsin theming on the course but do enjoy the elements already in place. If you’re playing this in the peak of the sunny summer weather season, consider playing this course either earlier in the day or after the sun sets. The lack of shade on the course can feel like a lot especially if you’re playing on this course in a competition. If you’re in the area, definitely swing by and take in a round.

Classic mini golf vibes
Nice variety of gameplay
Best playing / easier course of the 3 options on-site
Could use a little bit more theming
Lack of shaded areas on this course can make this challenging on super hot days
Nerdy Notes

- Rubber-covered putters and a variety of colored balls
- 1 of 3 courses including the Wild West (medium difficulty) and Lost Falls (hardest of the 3 course). Wisconsin Adventure is considered the easiest
- Lots of nearby lodging

- Facilities include an arcade, food/concessions, go-karts, bumper boats, bumper cars, laser tag, batting cages, and more
