Mr. Tee’s Victorian Gardens – Beach Haven LBI, NJ

Played August 17, 2021

Reviewed by Mr. Tee

Of all the courses we were excited to play on Long Beach Island at the Jersey Shore during a family trip back in 2021, Mr. Tee’s was the most intriguing. I mean, duh, my mini golf handle! It worked out well for us to get to play this on a beautiful weekday evening with our friends Aaron and Moira of O-Street mini golf before grabbing dinner.

Rating

This pastel-colored and Victorian-themed course is one of the two 18-hole courses on this main street property on Long Beach Island. This shore town is jam-packed with courses and we had already played almost all of them before getting to Mr. Tee’s. It was clear right away that it was designed by Harris mini golf. The gameplay was varied but not overly creative either. Not a lot of easy aces and definitely required more skill than some of the other courses on the island. The little characters, water features, and pink Victorian House as part of the final hole all tied the theme together nicely. The Victorian Garden’s course looked and played differently than their 2nd pirate-themed course which I appreciate. We like a variety of experiences at a single mini golf business as they appeal to our broad interest in the larger game. I’d gladly go back and play this course again on a future visit to LBI.
