We’re thrilled to share our two newest designs that will be coming to life next month at the Walker Art Center’s Skyline Mini Golf. Color Wheel and Piece of Cake will bookend a 10 hole artist-designed journey that includes 3 returning miniature golf creations we designed and contributed to in the past 4 versions of Walker’s course including Thrillo Brillo, Let’s Be Frank, and Block Party. Dig the photos of those holes below taken by one of our favorite Twin Cities photographers, Bobby Rogers, for now and expect to see many photos of the final fabricated pieces this Summer!
HOLE 1: Color Wheel
Up to four players can putt together at the same time on the Color Wheel. Pick a color and race to see who can get the ball in first. The winner subtracts one point from their score!
HOLE 10: Piece of Cake
Play with your food! Use the bumpers to help get your ball to the top of the ramp to find the sweet spot. Is it as easy as pie?
Skyline Mini Golf will open on Thursday, May 16 and close on Sunday, September 29. Hours coincide with the overall exhibition galleries.
Tee times are assigned on a first-come, first served basis. Last tickets are available 30 minutes before course closes.
Tickets are $10 ($8 Walker members and ages 7–18); free for ages 6 and under with paid adult. Each mini golf ticket may also be redeemed for one $5 gallery admission (up to $10 value) to use within 6 months.
Tickets can be purchased at the Main Lobby desk, near Esker Grove restaurant. If you’re parking in the ramp, walk toward the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden/Main Lobby.
