On the West Bank of the University of Minnesota is a placed called Advanced Imaging Services of Objects and Spaces (AISOS), which is part of Liberal Arts Technologies and Innovation Services (LATIS). Located on the fourth floor of Heller Hall, this small and unassuming series of offices houses some incredible technology capable of producing high resolution photos and 3D models from almost any object.
As part of an event for the College of Liberal Arts, AISOS created an augmented reality mini golf hole based off of the current dean, the Goldy the Gopher statue on campus, and various other Halloween-themed elements. The full 3D model can be found here!
