The minigolf adventures of Tom and Robin.

About

Tom Loftus (aka Mr. Tee) and Robin Schwartzman (aka The Pink Putter) met because of their love for art and community but they bonded over their love for miniature golf. The pair has played more than 75 courses around the world since then, reviewing each here on A Couple of Putts; but their passion for the game comes through in a new form with their design of holes for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 iterations of the Walker Art Center’s Artist-Designed Mini Golf courses, the Tasmeem Doha Festival in Qatar and Sparkle City Mini Putt in Spartanburg, SC.

When they’re not putting, Loftus co-manages the Twin Cities–based indie record label Modern Radio and advises students at McNally Smith College of Music; Schwartzman is an artist — in 2012 she made the Think and Wonder, Wonder and Think installation spanning the Stone Arch Bridge and most recently she designed and oversaw the construction of Sparkle City Mini Putt.  If you have any questions, please e-mail us at acoupleofputts@gmail.com. The music-obsessed Mr. Tee spends his time when he’s not mini-golfing running Modern Radio Record Label and petting his two adorable kittens. You can occasionally find him DJing, playing basketball or organizing new creative endeavors.

  2. Hi guys,

I love your site! As another minigolf aficionado, I appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into your site. I live in Massachusetts, and there’s a great course out in the Cape Cod area, in the town of Orleans, called “Cape Escape.” If you get out this way, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
